Short answer: $0.20 cents per student.
Course Intros works on credits, and each credit covers the cost of collecting and storing the introduction for 1 student.
You can purchase credits in increments of 25 for $5 (which works out to $0.20 cents per student).
Yes! The first 25 credits are on us, so you can try Course Intros for free and make sure you like it before buying any credits.
Once you add a student's introduction, there's a 14-day “add/drop” period during which you can drop introductions and have the credit refunded to your account.
Credits don’t expire, so you can always apply them to your other courses, including ones in future semesters.
We’ll continue to accept your students' introductions, even if you run out of credits. Once you refill your account, you'll be able to see the new introductions by adding them to your roster.
Introduction videos are stored on our servers for 6 months.*
After 6 months, videos are deleted, but before then you will have the opportunity to download an archive of your students’ videos you can keep for your permanent records.
We will start sending you email reminders to download your course archive 3 weeks before the deletion happens.
* The 6 month countdown starts after the first introduction video is received from one of your students.
Yes! You'll have access to downloadable receipts for all credit purchases from your Account page.
Nope! You can apply your credits to any of your Course Intros courses, so you should create a new course for each one you’re teaching.
Yup! Each course has a Collaborators feature that allows you to share access with other instructors or teaching assistants.
Absolutely. Only you and your course collaborators can see your students’ information, and data is never shared.
